At Blouporselein Guest farm we love to help people with initiative and we pride ourselves in giving young entrepreneurs a change to make their mark. It was a privilege to work with Alan Houstan and Brandan Mc load who organised their first and probably one of the most unforgettable races on the Bergriver

The Push and Pull paddle race is seen as the coolest races in the Western Cape. The strart of day one was at the beautiful Val de Vie Estate and ended at Bergriver Brouwery. We were the host during the race with sponsors like Bamboo Warehouse, Gara paddles and Paarl web design were part of this iconic race.

Zululand made sure every paddler had enough food and a tent to stay in. The live entertainment was memorable for each and every guest that visited that day. While waiting for paddlers to arrive on Saturday, the families joined in die festivities of a farmers market and live entertainment. Thirst provided their new range of refreshing water.
